Welcome to Polymathy ("the platform," "the service"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.

To use certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Users may post, upload, and contribute content to the platform, including exercises, comments, and edits ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the User Content that you post.

Content License from You

This is the most important part of these terms. To operate the platform, we need certain rights to the content you contribute. By posting User Content on Polymathy, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, fully-paid, transferable, assignable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content.

This license allows us to ensure that the knowledge base remains intact for all users, even if you decide to delete your account. It also allows us to transfer this content to a new owner if the platform is ever sold, ensuring the community's work can live on.

You agree not to do any of the following:

• Post any User Content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Post any User Content that infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, user accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the service.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content and terminate user accounts for any reason, without notice.

The platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain our exclusive property. This includes the service's design, text, graphics, and the selection and arrangement thereof. The Polymathy name and logo are our trademarks. You are not permitted to use these trademarks without our prior written consent.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you are a copyright owner and believe that any content on the platform infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification by contacting us with the required information. For details on the required information, please contact us at the email below.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the platform or your violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms.

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranty that the service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Stockholm, Sweden to resolve any dispute or claim arising from these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, including, if you are an EU consumer, the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the revised terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will do our best to provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
